I've spent over two decades and tens of thousands of my own dollars building what I genuinely believe is the best homepage on the Internet. It started as a personal project and grew into something thousands of people use every day.
As the site has grown, so have the costs: servers, databases, security, and development. My competitors are teams of hundreds or thousands of people at companies like Google and Microsoft. I have a team of three.
