Why does this happen?

Icon background mismatch — When websites change their logos, the icons update automatically. If an icon has a background that doesn't match the new logo, the best solution is to simply change the background color.

How to fix it

  1. Right-click the website icon and choose Change color
  2. Select a more appropriate background color
  3. For a perfect match, use an eyedropper extension to grab the exact color (HEX code like #F8FBF8)
