I don't have many splurges in this world. But, as a web developer (and owner of several websites), I really do splurge on new laptops about every so often.

This new Macbook Pro is a serious powerhouse that will probably last you 10-years or so. It's really great computer for anybody who spends a decent amount of time on a laptop. The new 16.2" display, Apple's M3 chip, and pricepoint for this laptop really makes it my top pick for late 2023 / 2024 upgrades.

Justin's Tip: If you mostly browse the web, a 512GB version (storage) is all you'll need. It comes in both Space Black and Silver.

Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X

• Great value, fast enough fro most
• Great for work or play
• Cheaper than the Macbooks

Lenovo is known for their workstation laptops, and this one is a great option for those looking for a PC.

The Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X has it all: compact design, blazing-fast speed, high-end features, and a very fair price

The specs for this laptop are enough for any type of user. You won't have to worry about running out of storage, any kind of lack of memory, or a slow CPU. This laptop really has it all, and with a nice 14.5" screen to "boot."

Macbook Air with M2 (15.3")

• Sleek look, available in 4 colors
• Cheaper than the Macbook Pro

This laptop is overall an incredibly speedy laptop that is fantastic for the masses. The 15.2in monitor, light weight, 1080p HD camera, and it's fully stacked with enough power and memory to handle everyday tasks.

It comes in 4 colors and is a great alternative to the Macbook Pro, which costs an extra $1,000.
