This converter needs JavaScript. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Looking for video or audio? Those live on the video pages. Word, Excel and other documents need a server-side engine, so I don't offer them — CloudConvert handles those.
Files are read and written on your device. The page never uploads them, so there is nothing to delete later.
Convert as many files as you like, as often as you like. There is no queue and no daily cap.
Your browser does the work, so a batch finishes in seconds and keeps working without a connection.
Drop a PDF onto the box above. The page count appears once it has been read.
Choose every page separately, or enter a page range such as 1-3, 5.
Click Split PDF. You get one PDF, or a zip of single-page PDFs.
Sometimes you need pages 3 to 5 of a forty-page report, or one signed page out of a contract, or a scanned stack turned back into separate documents. This tool does both jobs: type a page range to get a single PDF with just those pages, or choose every page separately to get a zip with one PDF per page.
Ranges work the way you would write them by hand: 1-3, 7, 10- means pages one to three, page seven, and page ten to the end. The tool reads the page count as soon as you drop the file so you know what you are working with.
Like everything on this site, the split happens on your device. The PDF is never uploaded, which matters when it is a bank statement or a medical record.
Enter a range that leaves out the pages you do not want. To drop page 4 from a ten-page file, use 1-3, 5-10.
Not until the password is removed. Save an unlocked copy from your PDF viewer first.
Yes. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
One PDF per page, numbered in order, so a twelve-page file gives you twelve single-page PDFs named page-01 through page-12.
