PNG is the right format for screenshots, logos, and anything with sharp edges or transparency. It is the wrong format for photos, where it can be ten times the size of an equivalent JPG. Email attachment limits, web upload caps, and slow galleries are the usual reasons people land here.
Drop in your PNGs, pick a quality, and this page re-encodes them as JPG on your device. Transparent areas become white, because JPG has no alpha channel. If you need to keep transparency, convert to WebP instead.
The quality slider is the only decision to make. 92% is a safe default; 80% is noticeably smaller and still looks fine for social media.
