This tool needs JavaScript. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
The first conversion downloads a ~32 MB video engine (ffmpeg.wasm, GPL-2.0-or-later) and keeps it for the rest of your visit. Your video itself is never uploaded.
Private by design
Files are read and written on your device. The page never uploads them, so there is nothing to delete later.
No accounts, no watermark
No sign-up, no queue, and no daily cap. Videos up to 200 MB, as many as you want.
Your device does the work
The first run downloads a 32 MB engine, then everything happens locally. That is slower than a server farm: expect seconds for a trim and minutes for a long clip.

About wav to mp3 converter
WAV is what recorders, audio interfaces, and music software save by default: uncompressed, perfect, and about 10 MB for every minute of stereo sound. That is fine on your own drive and a nuisance everywhere else. Email refuses it, chat apps squash it, and a podcast host or a band’s shared folder fills up fast.
This page re-encodes the WAV as an MP3 with LAME, the same encoder most audio software uses, running inside your browser through ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. At 192 kbps the MP3 is around a seventh of the size, and for most listening you will not hear the difference. Choose 320 kbps for music you care about.
The first conversion downloads the engine, about 32 MB, once per visit. After that a song converts in a few seconds. Your recording is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Will the MP3 sound worse than the WAV?
Technically yes, since MP3 is lossy, but at 320 kbps very few people can tell them apart even on good headphones, and 192 kbps is transparent for most listening. Keep the WAV as your master copy and share the MP3.
How long a recording can I convert?
Up to 200 MB, which is about 19 minutes of CD-quality stereo WAV, or longer for mono or lower sample rates. Bigger files run out of browser memory, so split a long session in your audio software first.
What happens to 24-bit or 96 kHz recordings?
They are converted to a standard 44.1 kHz MP3, the rate every player supports. MP3 has no bit depth of its own, so a 24-bit source simply goes in at full precision before encoding.
Does a mono recording stay mono?
Yes. The channel layout is kept, so a mono recording comes out as a mono MP3 and a stereo one stays stereo.
Which other audio files work?
AIFF, FLAC, M4A, OGG, and the audio inside any video file can all go in here, and the result is always an MP3.
