Open it when Opera starts

  1. Open Settings: press ⌘ , on a Mac (or choose Opera → Settings… in the menu bar), or Alt+P on Windows.
    Or paste this into the address bar: opera://settings/onStartup
  2. Pick On startup in the sidebar.
  3. Choose Open a specific page or set of pages, click Add a new page, paste , and click Add.

Do not click Use current pages. That’s this page.

Put your homepage on every new tab Recommended

Opera always opens its own Start page in new tabs. There’s no setting to change that, and it ignores extensions that try to. A Speed Dial tile is the next best thing: your homepage, one click from every new tab.

  1. Open a new tab and click Add a Site.
  2. Paste and click Add to Opera.
  3. Your homepage is now a tile on every new tab. Click it to open it.

Replace an old startup page If needed

Already have a page listed under On startup? Swap it for yours instead of adding a second one.

  1. Click the … next to the old page and choose Edit.
  2. Paste in its place.
